Day 1 Nuku Hiva
Arrive on Nuku Hiva and transfer across the island via helicopter to Taiohae Village and the Keikahanui Nuku Hiva Pearl Lodge.
Day 2-3 Nuku Hiva
Visit Taiohae Village and it's craftsmen. Meet the Marquesan sculptors and discover the excellent quality of their wood, stone and coconut sculptures.
Also visit the Cathedral, Fort Collet and other points of interest. Your full-day 4-wheel drive excursion travels through Taipivai Valley to the villages of Hatiheu and Anaho.
Visit archeological sites with sacred stone tikis and petroglyphs. Enjoy lunch at "Yvonne's" known for its exceptional local cuisine.
Day 4 Nuku Hiva
Return, via helicopter, to Nuku Hiva's airport.
The lodge accommodations include 20 bay view bungalows with amenities including air-conditioning, ceiling fan, mini-bar refrigerator, tea and coffee making machines, direct-dial telephone and private terrace. After a day exploring, relax at the lodge’s swimming pool and enjoy dinner at the restaurant.
